| Sam I hiked up and then skied back down this one. Continuous snow from the summit to about 10,500 on the road. Nice long descent! Put up a high camp at 12,800' to get a nice early start and get down before the road turned to total mush from the afternoon heat. | |

| 1993 - my daughter got sick and returned to the car before the Montezuma Mine road, I soloed up this route in late summer -- my highest solo climb. It's a reasonable scramble, a bit loose here and there. Descended the standard route to the Castle/Conundrum col. | |
