North Face

An up close and personal view of the north face of Mount Church as seen from near Lake 9682’. Snow usually lingers on the ramps until at least mid to late June, or can be climbed later in the year as a Class 4 scramble.

Awesome shot!

A lot of white stuff for the end of June!
What a contrast to the triple-digit temps here
in central Arizona. Outstanding photo!!!

Re: Awesome shot!

Thanks Larry. Most of Idaho got a lot of snow last winter, but the snow sure is going fast now.

Great photo!

The snow is just melted enough to highlight the neat patterns in the rock. Thanks for sharing all your Idaho photos...makes me want to spend more time over in your area.

Re: Great photo!

The ribs were very visible, even from a long way away. Very distinctive. Thanks for taking a look.
