| Left the TH very early and did this one solo. Climbed the Bell Chord and was nearly killed by rockfall triggered by frightened mountain goats while in the couloir. Went up South Maroon first and then traversed over to North Maroon. The whole experience was both physically and mentally challenging, but also very rewarding. The cruxes, while super exposed, were quite solid and fun to climb. The views from the top were/are astounding! | |

| I wanted to do this mountain for years and I finally got to summiting it. We chose a perfect day for this great, rugged peak; not a cloud in the sky all day. I'm pretty new to climbing so this was the hardest peak I've done so far, but there is probably gonna be many harder ones in my future. I'm also sad about the guy that died descending Maroon Peak via the Bell Chord the day after I climbed this, rest in peace man. | |

| Started up at 4:35AM met up with a good partner and group of people reached the summit at 8:51AM, Stayed about 35 mins on this beautiful day and back to the TH at 1:26PM, fun day. My 51st 14er...........sweet! | |

| Traversed from South Maroon Peak and descended Northeast Ridge back to Maroon Lake. Haven't seen any other people on the mountain that day. The three mountain goats accompanied me down to the boulder field. The route was not bad, except for the loose upper gully with some exposure to rockfall. Good scrambling, beautiful weather, incredible views! | |

| Really neat route, but the long gully climb is very exposed to bad rockfall. Be fast through this part - otherwise no worries! | |
