North Marshall Crags

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
North Marshall Crags
These crags are not visible from the trail up North Marshall, but they are accessible by an easy use trail (maybe not so easy in summer, though). The view is to the south along the crest of the Blue Ridge.

There are several cliffs and outcrops in this area offering climbing from Class 3 scrambles to challenging rope-only faces and cracks up to about 40'. Another plus is that these crags are just 5-10 minutes from the parking area but are likely to see few visitors even though Mount Marshall itself is a popular destination.
