I tried to follow the directions here for the NE face because it sounded easier: "Class 2-3 Hikers Trail". I contoured around the east flanks and then eventually got cliffed out so I started climbing up. I got cliffed out several times more and ended up spending 45+ minutes climbing places I had no business climbing without ropes. I came straight down what I imagine to be the "NE face" described here---made it summit to base/ridge in less than 15 minutes---super steep but MUCH easier than it looks. I took one look up it on the way up and said no way, but looking back, I should've gone straight up it from the ridge. It wasn't bad at all.
"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."
