Approach

To get to the route You can ether climb over copland pass 1+2150m and down to Douglas rock hut full day or access from the west coast up the copland valley to Douglas rock hut 7/12 hoursto the north ridge

Route Description

starting about 15 min up the coland track from douglas rock hut this great 2000m climb leads directly to the summit.climb slabs on the northern side of the jasper glacier stream then follow the riseing ridge up a number of rock buttresses before flattening out and finishing on a glacial bulge.Then asend a vague snow rib to reach a shelf below the summit above either climb direct to the summit or traverse south on to the west ridge
