Overnight Hike  Sucess!

Hiked up canyon to "campground" area. Pushed down tall grasses and made camp at edge of trees. It was a very warm day and night but enjoyed 2 days of hiking.

Caprock  Sucess!

Did the Upper North Prong Canyon and Haynes Ridge Loop. Surprised that there were not many people hiking here.

South Prong / Haynes Loop  Sucess!

This roughly 6 mi loop beginning at the South Prong CG and trailhead was a nice surprise. The long distance on treeless ultra flat plains make this an extraordinary place. The sandstone cliffs and vegetation are reminiscent of the Colorado Plateau in western NM.
