Northern tip

Northern tip

of the Oquirrh Mountains. This is taken from I-80. The Central Wasatch Peaks to the east were covered in a fog bank, so when the sun came up over the fog, it looked pretty cool. I had to exit off and gawk. Jan. 2, 2010

So, that was right after

a snowstorm when it looked this way ?

I would have gawked, too! There's nothing
like Utah snow being lit by the sun.

Happy 2010!

Happy 2010 to you too Larry!

That part of the Oquirrhs always looks extremely "white" after a storm. There are no trees, and from the north it can really stand out.
