| Climbed as part of a link-up of the 5 summits. Patch of snow above the OW made for some wet crack and sketchy slab moves. Overall enjoyable. | |

| Second attempt at NEWS and encountered a thunderstorm both times. Deceptively hard route psychologically with pretty sustained climbing for an alpine route. The "scary undercling" was pretty scary and the off-width went with a bit of "French Free" climbing by yours truly. | |
