| Florida Frank | Fine day in the 'Dacks ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 14, 2012 | |
| Pleasant early fall day hike with buddy RD Jim. Moderate grades, some decent views from the top despite the haze. "Trailess" trail is easy to follow. #35/46. | ||

| ScAtTeRbOnE | Nice Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 13, 2012 | |
| I thought the views were good with the leaves off, better from Street, some snow up top still, didn't need snowshoes though. Views from Heart Lake of snow capped Algonquin and Marcy were great! | ||

| jpbourque | Nye and Street ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 21, 2012 | |
| Started hiking at 10.5 AM from heart lake with our snowshoes strapped on our back. Mostly easy hike, hard packed snow, no ice. Microspikes were sufficent. Sky cleared as we ascended Nye and then Street. Nice (but limited) view on both summit. Nice temp and weather. We were back by 5 PM. After reading many trail reports, winter hiking those summits looks to be the best way to climb those two. | ||

| Climbed with Street. It was unseasonably warm and windy! Herd Path was easy to follow but there was a bit of blowdown to contend with. No views. Definitely a peak baggers mountain. | ||

| CRiedel2 | Easiest 46'er Date Climbed: Nov 2, 2011 | |
| An unexpectedly warm day...and sunny too! The trail was covered in fall leaves, and of course muddy in parts. At least the cold nights froze the ground, which was a welcome relief. Not too hard to follow as long as I paid attention. Not much for views and I almost missed the "NYE" sign high up on a tree right on the summit. Did this one before Street Mt since it was closer, which I think worked out well since I saved the good views for last. Easy hike up really...maybe the easiest 46'er ??? | ||

| TLP | It's a dirty job ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 15, 2009 | |
| I was covered in mud by the time I reached the summit. I didn't particularly enjoy the mountain. It was the first time I saw Heart Lake though. | ||

| Muddy, muddy, muddy... Street was even worse. However, I did enjoy the sloppy conditions in a strange way. | ||

| Climbed with Street via the Heart Lake Trail from the Adirondack Loj. Herd path was in pretty good shape. Nothing like what it used to be. Not much in the way of views. A great hike to do during the fall foliage season. | ||

| Hit Street first, then came over to grab Nye. No views, but this marked the half-way point! Peak #23/46! : ) Beautiful with all the snow and a fun snowshoe/skate back to the car. Great day to be in the High Peaks! | ||

| Well, not much in the way of views... but it was strangely satisfying to sit on top, eat some pretzels, and look at that summit sign... | ||

| Wet/muddy trail conditions w/ light coating of snow exists now starting at 3,000 ft. Cold west wind and grainy snow fell periodically. Apparently four people attempted it, but at least two turned back. Took us about 5 hours to do Street & Nye. 46r #3532. Amydoll's 8th high peak. | ||

| doctorpeakbagger | Blow-down sucks ![]() Date Climbed: May 6, 2006 | |
| Climbed with Mark. Stayed on Indian Pass trail too long and had to bushwack to NYE/Street trail from Rocky Falls. The trail up Nye was long-climbing due to so much blow-down. Bagged Street as well. Snow from 4k up with lots of postholing. | ||

| These two mountains were better than I expected. The 46ers had down some wonderful trailwork and this herd path is better than some maintained trails in the ADKs! | ||
