Re: Thxhehehe for sure, I went to Pacaya volcano last weekend... 2 huge rivers of lava running downhill, ufff amazing. I was so close, just 3 meters, impossible to be there few seconds cause the intense heat.

Nice page/route infoI wish I had this info when I was up there in '04. Tried the complete west ridge and turned back when I saw what was going on w/false summit(s). Niece lives in Anchorage, hope to get back up there (3rd trip) in '12 as her family is coming "down" this summer.

Re: Nice page/route infoThanks for the encouragement. I'm gradually getting Chugach peaks up on the site (~15 so far)--I started mostly because of all the misinformation out there about peaks like O'Malley. PM me if you get up this way.
