| I met a few people at the top. This was my 3rd 14er. The willows below were a mess due to melt-off. All before they put in that wooden walkway. Good weather. | |

| Made the summit with Chef007(Adam) at 9:47am. Enjoyed the nice views of the Sawtooth. Bierstadt was quite simply the easiest all around 14er I have ever climbed. | |

| My first 14er. Great day! Very windy but great weather otherwise. Climbed with friend of mine. Very good, easy route for winter. Well-marked route all the way around. They aren't kidding about the willows, they can be a pain if you lose the trail for a second in deep snow. | |

| Another wonderful SP Winter Gathering. After attempting to summit on two previous Gatherings, I finally made it. Although I was last to summit, with that many fellow SPrs breaking trail for me, the snow wasn't slowing me down...just the usual flatlander lungs. Great day, beautiful weather, gorgeous mountain views, and great company...it just doesn't get any better. | |
