| What a great mountain in an awesome valley. I started at the Matterhorn Creek TH and had great weather on this threesome. Made the summit of Wetterhorn in 1:40 with a ctc for all three in 7:50. I'll definately return to do this one again. | |

| This seemed like one of the FASTEST 14er summits I've done! At #40, I compare the fun scrambling to the likes of the Crestones. We summited at 6:30am (my earliest summit). It was amazingly beautiful!!! ...we made it a duo day and hiked the L-O-N-G slog over to Uncompahgre as well! | |

| the trail leading to southeast ridge is sooo beautiful the scramble up is so good and so are the views descendedeast ridge and tried to make it to materhorn but thunder stopped that 3/4 of the way! | |
