| Climbed it solo from the capanna Margherita. Included the Zumsteinspitze southwest summit (4.463m) as well. Nice climb, great views! | |

| Gabi, Sev and I left M. Hut at 6am... very windy, so a bit scary in the ridge up to the virgin. Then back down thorugh the Glacier de Grenz to Zermatt where we arrived at around 2pm. Beautiful views of Cervino and Lyskamm all the route. | |

| I climbed the Zumstein in 30 minutes from Capanna Margherita. The weather was very nice and the view too. From the summit we went to Rotenboden, close to the Gornergrat. | |

| Solo trough Grenzgletscher to the summit by normal route with back pack full of food and bivack equipement. I met 2 Italians on the top, they did it from Dufour Sp. Cold wind at that day, strong sun. The rocky part is worth your every step, I found it very atractive. | |

| Nice hight walking. Very nice day: sunny but very worm. We started at 4:30 in the morning from Città di Mantova hutte and we arrived at the top of Zumsteinspitze in 3:10. Than we traversed to Signalkuppe, Parrotspitze, Ludvishohe, Corno Nero and back again at the hutte before 12:00. A long walking for an unforgettable day. I suggest to try: long but easy. And very spectacular | |

| After a cup of hot chocolate at the Margerita Hut Tuomas and I made it to the summit of Zumsteinspitze. The ridge was easy and very beautiful. From the summit we had a good view to the route to the Dufouspitze. We had tryied to make a traverse from Dufour to Zumstein a couple of weeks earlier but had to turn back because of the awful snow conditions. | |
