| It was a guided tour with a german organization. We started from the camp in the valley beneath Thorong Phedi (ca. 4350 m) at 3,30 a.m. and walked through the night until we reached Thorong La at 7 a.m. We made a rest and started again at 9,30 a.m. It was a great pleasure to feel crampons at the feet after two weeks of trekking but I was very exhausted at the summit (that we reached at 2,15 p.m.) because I had suffered with fever some days ago. Nice view to the desert of Mustang. 5 p.m. back at Thorong La where we camped the night before descending to Muktinath. |
