| I have climbed the east slopes route 4 times, once in the early summer with a some skiing on the way down and 3 times in winter. This peak is quite easy and has many hikers on it, however in winter you are lucky to see anyone at all! | |

| This was my first fourteener, and man was it beautiful!! It was also my first hike of the year which wasn't necesarily smart, but it was well worth it!! On to Democrat etc next weekend and Bierstadt after that!! Climb on! | ||

| Lost the trail due to very dense fog so I decided to go straight up, scrambling over boulders and stuff. Much more exciting than the trail. My first solo climb. | |

| This was my first 14er. Jay & I climbed up the east slope and glissaded down the south couloir to the dam. It was also was my ice ax experience after Wilderness Trekking class, and the snow in the couloir had melted considerably. Needless to say, this glissade turned out to be quite exciting (even bordering on terrifying)!! | |
