| We did not expect to go after a two bagger this year, but as you climbers know this is a moderate climb if careful. We left from Stevens Gutlch. Had to bail fom the sedan rental on the approach when rocks/trail got too rough. But got to the trail-head and started the climb but churning elevation too fast. Daniel, my dear friend paid for it with altitiude sickness but made both. We actually lost the trail on the way up Grays and traversed the cleaveage South to North up to the summit of Torreys. I remember telling my friend Den to quit fricking bumping into me on the traverse as I did not want to fall into the bowl. And actually as my altimeter read above 14,000 feet, as were are on the grind up the South Face, my team did not think I/my altimeter was this full of shit. We all made the summit at 1030 hrs. 14,267 feet and could not eat. Almost threw up.......... But had to go on as we had one more to go. PS I hope no other human being ever rents that rental sedan we took up to the trailhead | |

| 2hrs25 to the top and 3hrs45 roundtrip. 4 Natty Ice's, one cinnamon bun. Awesome Aspen in full color down Grizzly side. Lots of friendly folks up and down on the descent. 7 miles RT for 200ft of solid class3 rock, but fun. | |

| Started at 5am and had the peak mostly to myself. Torreys via Kelso Ridge makes a great obligatory combo with Grays. Fun route! | |

| I've done this 14er combination several times over the years, but the most challenging was summitting Grays from the Horseshoe Basin side, then climbing up to Torreys, and returning to the vehicle by climbing over Grays a second time. Whew---what a day! | |

| Climbed this one in combination with Grays. Did it by myself, with a bunch of other people on the trail. Next time I climb this one I am taking a friend and going up the Kelso ridge route. That looks like a lot of fun. This was #18 on my quest to hit all of the Official Colorado 14ers. | |

| The approach road was a real challenge for my motorcycle. I only made it up half way and then hitchhiked the rest. Spent the night just above the tree line in Stevens Gulch. Moments after I got into my tent, there was a major hail storm. The next morning I did Torreys first and then Grays. See my Trip Report about doing seven 14ers in eight days. | |

| Did the Loveland Pass route with friends.Can't recall the exact date.I clocked until the last push to Torreys,and then had to slow down.Gotta work on the endurance,haha. Weather looked iffy,so we descended into Chihuauah Gulch.A thunder boomer came along and helped us to get home a bit faster:).Discovered how much I like Oboz shoes-my feet felt great,and no blisters! | ||

| Went up Kelso Ridge with Eric and Alex today. We 4 wheeled (fun!) up the road to the trailhead at night, slept in the Jeep and began at 7am. Shit ton of people on the trail, but very few on the ridge. The ridge itself was very fun. Went on over to Grays afterwards. 4 hr 15 mins car to car. | |
