| This was my only time up Lassen, ten years ago. Did it with some friends, had a great time, must be the easiest 10,000 foot peak to climb in the states. | |

| This was a warmup for my brother-in-law and I before we headed up Mt Shasta the next day. There was still snow to traverse but no real problems. It was socked in on top, but intermittently there were views to be had. | |

| Short and sweet. Lots of people at the summit, but lots of room to share the amazing views. A trip to Bumpass added the finishing touch this great day. | |

| The trail is closed about halfway up because of "rockfall", if one were to continue, you might find the trail in excellent shape and find any rockfall hard to find. Someone was killed a week before! Pics, map and report at http://www.willhiteweb.com/index_387.htm | |

| Hiked the normal trail, 1:40 round trip. Apparently it was closed since a couple people got hit by rockfall a few weeks before, one person dying. Didn't see any rocks falling that day. | |

| Summited with SPer's Forjan & Mdostby. We did this as a warm up climb for Shasta's Casaval Ridge. Beautiful day with only a few other climbers. Summited in 2 hours, hung out on the summit for about a half hour and took about an hour to get down. | |

| Awesome! Left the Crags campsite at 5:30 and started up from the Devastated Area at around 6AM. Surprisingly good snow conditions except in a few areas close to the summit. Got to the top at around 10:30 and switched to ski boots for the incredible descent back to the car. What a day! My first route as a Californian. | |

| Spent two nights in the snow beneath this peak teaching some members of the Cal Hiking and Outdoor Society (CHAOS) basic winter mountaineering skills from climbing and beacon searches to snow shelter construction. We topped it off with a nice snow climb of the SE Ridge of the peak. | |
