| Pretty tough class 4. Much harder than the Mountaineer route on Cathedral and Unicorn. Climbed up a steeply angled chimney from the south side. Then came to a ledge and traversed over to the east side and climbed up some large blocks using cracks and pull-ups to reach the top. Not as hard as I thought it would be downclimbing. A fun climb at about the edge of my current comfort level. | ||

| Climbed the south summit via the south arete, but decided the traverse was too much for me. Down climbed the south arete, walked around the base and tagged the north summit. | ||

| Nice loop of Tenaya Peak, Columbia Finger and Tresidder Peak. Tresidder was the best of the three, though I enjoyed them all. About 4 hrs (and a couple minutes) car-to-car. | ||

| kovarpa | N to S traverse ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 16, 2007 | |
| Traverse from N to S summit w/ Mike Z. (part of Tenaya/Tressider/C Finger traverse). Felt like very short Matthess with much crappier rock... Great views of Cathedral Range, nice exposure. | ||

| Matthew Holliman | Route Climbed: North-South traverse Date Climbed: Sep 23, 2005 ![]() | |
| The first of two warmup days with Glenn for Clarence King, this turned out to easily be one of the most enjoyable days all summer. Climbed the north summit (easy, and barely earning a class 4 rating), traversed to the south summit and down the south arete (awesome, airy ridge), then tagged Columbia Finger, Echo Peaks #3, Echo Ridge, and Cockscomb, returning via Budd Creek. Fantastic scrambling. | ||

| First peak of a four peak day with Matthew Holliman. Was a warmup for us, but turned out to be a very enjoyable climb. This was my first non-car experience in the Tuolumne Meadows area/Cathedral Range, and I really liked the area. The traverse was a lot of fun, with only two parts stopping you from staying true to the jagged ridge; the north summit descent and one other short downclimb in the middle. | ||

| A fun climb that marked the end of Tuolumne climbing for the year. The weather was absolutely perfect and the views of Cathedral Peak are stunning. It's a fun class 4 scramble. | ||

| Tresidder 2, Kim & Morgan 0. Attempting to avenge our earlier failed attempt, we brought a rope with the goal of climbing the south arete. We were stymied this time by tougher climbing than we expected. We should have looked more for the shorter, easier route, because it does exist. At least it was a nice day and we had a chance to test our new digital camera. We'll try to return ASAP to retrieve the gear (one runner and a carabiner) that I left on route when we bailed. ;) Here's a trip report. | ||

| The north summit appeared to be the high point from Cathedral Lakes, but when I reached the top, I realized the south summit was a little higher. So, I went over and bagged that too. Fun Class 4/5 climbing. | ||

| With Gary Wong from London. We only made it to the foot of summit block. There was a notch between the north and south summit arrets where we had a nice picnic with great views on both sides. | ||

| It was Morgan who made me take notice of this peak a few years ago when he first climbed it. On my way back from Matthes Crest, I decided to climb this while there was still some daylight. It was my first unroped class 4 climb and got my adrenelin going better than the whole route on Matthes. Much fun! I tried the North Arete first, but found the South Arete easier. Trip report. | ||

| mpbro | Route Climbed: Attempted southern route on north arete Date Climbed: October ??, 1999 | |
| My first introduction to tough scrambling. What a gas! This is a great peak, with many possible short climbs. Secor mentions a 5.9 route on Tressider's northeast face, and both the north and south (summit) aretes are class 4 at the easiest. A trip report is here. | ||
