| I loosely followed the the rib, staying on slabs to the west of it. The summit registry was scattered down the east face, It did not look accidental. There was one kid(late teens) who left the summit just after I gained the ridge. THe couple I'd talked to the day before metioned nothing about it. I'm guessing it was the kid. Heard some rock falls from the summit as well, as if tossed over the edge. I did what I could to start a new registry but my pen broke. | |

| Brad! You are back! I concluded that Tyndall is a very feasible dayhike -- after I schlepped a big pack up to the Pass, it was all of 12:30 PM. With lighter shoes and a daypack, an earlier start, plus picking up most water on the way, it would be less than other stuff we have done. | |

| I went solo up the northwest ridge, then down the standard route. It was really fun and much better rock than I expected. I had to detour west around some obstacles. This is a beautiful mountain with excellent views, highly recommended. | |

| Attempted the Northwest Ridge last year and got off route at the top. Decided to go with the North Rib this time. Direct, solid climbing and easy rout finding. Great Class 3. | |

| Did the class 3 rib route. It was a fun and quick ascent. The approach over the shepard's pass was the hardest part. | |

| Climbed up the NW ridge and came down the North Rib. Williamson looked intimidating from the summit but was not so bad once at the base of the mountain. Climbed Williamson the following day. | |

| Toting a splitboard and skis Peter and I toped out via the NW face, and then descended nearly 6000 feet, although not continuously. Very high winds the two evenings before our descent made for some very crusty and mixed snow conditions. Had the mountain and Shepherd's Pass all to ourselves for four days, great trip! | |

| A beautiful place to spend my 54th B'Day, 6 months after having a total hip replacement! Great views of a part of the range I was not familiar with. Too bad I lost my wallet on the descent.....ripped pocket. | |

| As Rocketsredglare said, mmmmmm.....sure was a tasty rib especially for my first full course 14er. Shepards pass and Tyndall didnt stand a chance. I really enjoyed the accelerated heartbeat as table sized boulders were dislodged from under our feet going up the rib. Oh ya....has anyone seen my wet sandwich??? | |
