| From Valea Sambetei-Vistea-Moldoveanu. From Podragu. In winter of 2008 I tried two times to climb it and I couldn't cause of the bad weather and avalanches but I will try again and next year :D. | |

| August 1978, while doing the 2nd part of our four-week trek: Piatra Craiului - Fagaras - Capatini-Paring - Retezat. The Fagaras was fantastic but terribly windy. Seems typical of this range. | |

| Spent two days near the summit in the little reffuge, and climed the summit 7 times; once at night in total darkness because my partner left his camera up there. It is a fantastic place to be!!! | |

| Passed by the summit on a two week trek from Sinaia to Sibiu. Great moutains. Technically very easy but enough height gain and loss to make them a physical challenge. Very quiet when I was there and the weather followed a three day cycle of blue skies building up to an afternoon and evening of thunder storms. Note that water sources seem scarce along the main ridge so take some large water bottles to fill up when you have the chance. | ||

| This is a nice mountain area. You have easy treking routes and climbing routes (max. TD) in summer ; in winter it`s more dangerous and you have the posibility to make some ice climbing. | |
