| Hiked in via Mill Creek...the most noteworthy scree I've ever encountered. Didn't hit any contiguous snow until 11,000'. ridges were heavily corniced, an ice axe was a must in short sections. | |

| Started the hike from Silver Creek TH at 6:46AM and reached Redcloud Peak at 9:38. Started across the ridge/saddle at 9:55AM, back-and-forth by noon. Back down to the TH by 2:15PM on this beautiful autumn day in Colorado. My 34th 14'er....sweet!! | |

| We went over Redcloud and climbed to Sunshine. It was a pretty easy ridge, but definitely a tiring hike back over Redcloud and down. | |

| Great day in the mountains. Descended the northwest slope. I don't recommend this unless you love 2000 ft of loose talus, but it saves you from re-climbing Redcloud. The talus was hell on my dog's paws. | |

| Did the traverse on over from Redcloud, and enjoyed great weather throughout. A warning, however: Sunshine looks a lot closer to Redcloud than it really is... This one was my 20th 14er. | |

| I shot over from Redcloud, took a little longer than I thought, but the ridge was a nice little jaunt over to Sunshine. I would really like to make one big loop going the standard way then from Sunshine go down and over "Sundog" and then drop down from there onto the main trail or vice versa. | |

| Standard loop. Climbed Sunshine first via the saddle between it and Redcloud. Some loos crap up to the saddle but almost all the mountains I've done this summer have been on rotten slopes so getting sort of used to stuff moving under my feet. | |
