| fzte | Beautiful Day ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 11, 2009 | |
| Climbed on an awesome clear winter day with hard/icy snow conditions. The beginning of the trail was a frozen stream and I fell pretty hard a couple times on the way back down. Used crampons and axes higher up on the mountain. Following the summit ridge was a bit nerve-wracking being a rookie but very rewarding in the end. | ||

| Started climbing Pilchuck in 1970. I like it best in the spring, as soon as you can get most of the way up the road. Go right up the old ski run. Great sliding on the way back down. Just be careful of the clifs below Little Pilchuck. Too many people get lost up there. If you haven't been there on a clear day, go back. A great 360 degree view and so close to the city. | ||

| geosean | Rainy July Day on Pilchuck ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 8, 2009 | |
| Rained the whole way, very little snow on the ground though. The lookout was very cold – drafty – despite my being dry. Had the place to myself though. However my battery was dead when I got back to the car. | ||

| Climbed/hiked the trail with two good friends wanting to prepare for Baker. Mostly clouds, but no rain. Nice day in the mountains just the same. Very few people on the trail. | ||

| Dean | Nice day ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 30, 2009 | |
| The snow began at 4100' and then was solid at 4400'. A nice hike to the lookout on a very nice day. Quite a change from the desert peaks of Utah and Nevada that I've been doing a lot of lately. | ||

| First car there at 6:30am on a Saturday morning. We had the summit to ourselves. Note: Pilchuck is apparently not the Si of Everett. This hike packed fun snow travel, great views, some unexpected solitude, and even a short but interesting scramble all into just a few hours car to car. | ||

| ivyonup | Hiked with Sister ![]() | |
| We started out a bit later in the afternoon then planned, around 4pm, but we were still able to make it to the peak and back to our car before it was too dark. We had nice weather and a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. It was our last "hoorah" before I left for college. | ||

| Went with my partner's Rainier team in April. Still lots of snow higher up. Slipped and self-arrested at one point. Had heard of fatalities just the week before. | ||

| RickandRhonda | Near zero visibility ![]() Date Climbed: Nov 2, 2008 | |
| Climbed Eagle's Nest and East Knob while on my way up. Conditions were awful, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Less than 100 feet visibility the whole way up, with visibility down to less than 20 feet in places. Substantially high winds, and a torrential downpour rounded my day out. Good times! | ||

| Dan Winter | Paint Trail ![]() | |
| I climbed ths mountain but I am not sure when. Surprising, since I usually keep a record of climbs I have done. I didn't really like the paint on the rocks although I can see where it could be easy to get off route. | ||

| CascadeJess | This was my first hike ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 15, 2005 | |
| I had never done a hike before this one and so naturally due to being out of shape and not having the hiking experience it was very hard for me. But that's because I was a newbie. I did enjoy the view when I got the top because I'd never summited a mountain before, even though it is a tiny one. I'd like to go do it again this year now that I'm in better shape. I think it would be a lot easier for me. | ||
