| A bit chilly (low 20's) as we started on the Livermore trail up the North Slide, which was a nice scramble. The South slide was an easy climb down, but watch your footing on the loose scree and rock. The rest of the hike was pretty boring. I have to say that this trip was a lot easier than I had been led to believe. The book time is supposed to be 7 hours. We did it in 5 +, but really took our time to take in the warm sun at some of the overlooks. | ||

| TLP | great time ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 17, 2008 | |
| This was the first mountain I did that I didn't have a camera on me. I forgot it at home, unbelievable! It was a good day too. It's been a weird summer for me in NH. Everytime I want to go, it has been crappy weather. It rained some the past couple of days beforehand, so I decided to take the Scaur Ridge trail on the way up, which I liked. I liked the whole hike. There was nobody else on the trail until I was coming down the south slide. Lots of people were enjoying the day on the Livermore trail. If you have a bike that would be a good way to do the hike quicker, because you can easily ride a bike down the Livermore trail, which many people were doing. | ||

| Climbed via the Pine Bend Brook Trail from the Kancamagus Highway. Summitted both North Tripyramid and Middle Tripyramid. Nice views from Middle Peak. Lots of blowdown damage for a previous storm. Not very many people hike Tripyramid this way. | ||

| Great loop with amazing slides. The wind was quite strong going up the North slide which made things more fun. Completed the loop and headed over to Tecumseh for some more fun. | ||

| The north slide was somewhat slick (the morning fog never lifted until I got to the bottom of the 2nd slide on the south). This was much easier than Huntington ravine, because there's not much choice for route finding. | ||

| Up the North Slide, around and down the South slide. Great fun climb. Amazing views of the valley from the top of the slides. Finished quicker than I expected to I shot over to Tecumseh to climb that and get some great views of Tripyramid. | ||

| dirth | Tripyramid Loop ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 7, 2007 | |
| Up the north slide, across the three peaks, and back down the south slide. The theme of the hike was bad weather with just enough rain to make north slide tricky and just low enough overcast to obscure any views from the top. | ||

| Went halfway up the north slide, pretty snowy and icy, but turned back b/c it got to scary and dangerous without a partner or rope. | ||

| The day was raining which made the scramble/slides area tricky. The fool killer got us too. Too bad my friend ani hadn't read the amc trail guide informing us of this "false trail" so im a fool but i wasn't killed. Gained all 3 summits over 2 days 1 night. nice little campsite at the saddle between north and middle | ||

| I felt really bad walking by a girl cussing out her boyfriend at the base of the slide. The slide, it turns out, wasn't her idea. I walked right up having a great time, and she just stared at me, exasperated. | ||

| Climbing the North Slide in early December was not my brightest idea ever. The slide (one mile) took us three hours. Descended via Scaur Ridge (a cakewalk) rather than risk any delays on the South Slide. This slide is much more difficult than the Flume Slide, and MUCH more exposed. | ||

| An expedition style assault on the North Slide of Tripyramid was planned and we took a full day to climb the slide in crusty snow conditions. A great beautiful line in the winter. | ||

| bewencher | Route Climbed: Sabbaday Brook Trail out (I forget the other trail name) Date Climbed: 8/13/05 ![]() | |
| Nice easy hike in and then rapid ascent to the peaks. Lots of sign of heavy runoff and that sort of thing, so I can only imagine what it would be like in the spring to have to cross raging streams and that sort of thing. The peaks had a lot of trees on them, but there were lots of occasions for good views. The loop out to Middle Peak is nice and doesn't add too much time to the day. We came out on Sabbaday Brook Trail, which was a really good idea. We stopped at the water for a while to cool off and wash off the mud. Definately a fun hike. (I'm planning to do it again and continue to the third peak and then over to Pasaconaway and Whiteface.) | ||
