| Left Gnifetti Hut at 5:30 and enjoyed breakfast on the summit at 7:30...short but great climb, with absolutely breathtaking views of Monte Rosa! | |

| At 7am Gabi, Sev and I left the hut. Very windy but sunny. Interesting ridge, mix rock & snow, with final snow corridor to get to the summit. Margherite Hut was waiting for us yet a bit far ! | |

| We started at 6:00 am at Rifugio Vigevano (2864 m), at 14:00 pm we reached the summit and at 19:00 pm we were back in Vigevano hut. It was 13 hours round trip, but we were walking slowly, to enjoy the trip. The Lys glacier was still OK during the ascend, but when we were descending, it was melted and difficult to walk on. | |

| Climbed Piramide Vincent in a 4½ hours roundtrip from the cable car at Punta Indren. The weather was very hot. Only wore a base layer all the way to the summit. Basic snow plod with some rock scrambling (with fixed ropes) before reaching the Gnifetti hut. | |

| Nice one-day climbing from the normal route in a sunny day. We ( Valerio, Paolo, Luigi) reached Punta Indren by cable-car than in 40min we arrived to the top of the short rocky route to the Rifugio Gnifetti. Once connected together we follow the clear path in direction of the Colle Gnifetti. Before to reach the pass we decided to turn right and up and with a more direct way the summit was reached. From Punta Indren 2:30 min. Nice view from the top. It was the celybate-celebration for Paolo that married Anita one week later. Congratulation | |

| After topping the Piramide Vincent earlier in the morning by the normal route we descended the South-West flank to Punta Giordani. From there Tuomas wanted to do a couloir climb on the flank and I wanted to do the Cresta del Soldato. So we soloed the personally preferred routes. Cresta del Soldato was beautiful! Rock was really good and sound and the route was easy to follow. The exposure was pretty wild occasionally. | |
