| We took the multi-day approach to Redfield, though most people are climbing this as a day trip from ADK Loj or Upper Works. We camped at Lake Arnold.
Following a nicely packed snowshoe trail, this was a straightforward climb to the top. Deep snow meant ducking here and there, but the trail was easy to follow. (See my comments on the route in the "Getting There" section.)
Climb this mountain in the winter! No blowdown tangles at all.
Finally, the views are fantastic from the approach and from the summit.
