Date Climbed: Nov 9, 2008

Rough, wet trail even by ADK standards. The bushwack was actually a bit easier than the trail into Wallface Pond because there was so much standing water on the trail. Our day turned out to be a minor disaster including broken trekking poles, torn gaiters, falls into rapid streams, and a lost camera. If it weren't for the GPS, we would have had a hard time even getting back from the peak as we were caught after dark and a steady rain had turned into wet, heavy snow. A late, late return home coupled with the lost camera ensured I was in deep doo doo. If anyone finds the camera in the spring, please let me know. It's a Pentax and is somewhere near where the trail ends around Wallface Pond.

This is a great hike. I highly reccomend it to anyone up for an adventure. Really no herd path, so bring a compass. The summit sign is up there, and spelled incorrectly.
