| We came to the Austrian Tribulaun hut and since we did not know much about this mountain, asked the landlady what the way is like. She told us: "No problem! *Everybody* can make this!" In fact, we made it, though it is not easy. Crushed rock for 500 vertical meters without any path at up to 35°. Consequently you make two steps up and 1 down. Very exhausting. From the col it is a very easy climbing (I-II) with some fixed, though partly loose ropes (attention). When we came down, we met a climber, who shortly afer we met him, decided to get back.
So: Nice mountain, excellent view, partly no track and definitely not for *everybody*. |
