| Lived and worked at Lodgepole for 2 summers as an interp ranger. Have hiked all of the trails in the area many times. Have gone back as a tourist and have camped there in the summer and on the snow in the winter. Love it here 4 seasons... | |

| I think I have been to Lodgepole eight or nine times, and have spent at least a week total in the Lodgepole campground. Great place, go check it out. | |

| Can't believe it took me 42 years to get to Sequoia and see the Big Trees! Rob took me to climb Chimney Spire and do the tourist thing looking at the giants, General Sherman and Lodgepole. So glad I have finally seen those amazing, ancient giants and opened my mind to all the historical imaginings. You can almost see a progression of thousands of years animals, native peoples, 49ers, etc. I'm sure all the people stood in awe at the base in exactly the same way. How anyone could cut one down is beyond me. Thanks again Rob, for yet another experience I'll always remember. | |
