| Came up from camp at upper Bullfrog Lake. Lots of sand to slog up, but just enough scrambling to make it worthwhile. Great views in the morning. | |

| The final stop on a Sawtooth-Needham-Rainbow-Florence dayhike out of Mineral King. (Traversed from Needham to Rainbow via Needham's SW Slope, Lakes 10,479 and 10,569, and up Rainbow's SE Slopes--a nice hike with easy solid granite ledges/boulders on the way up to Rainbow). Hazy views due to the ever present cloud cover that day. The SW Slopes had some nice scrambling, with a bit of third class in places. | |
