| my friend had an accident with his car and we almost crushed into the Pitztal river. We made a bivy somewhere in the forest near Plangeroß. The next day we found a garage for repairing and hiked to Kaunergrat hut. After the night there we climbed the normal glacier route which had some steep section and is quite demanding as a normal route. But conditions in August were still good in these years. | |

| This route should be the easiest, but it depends on the condition of the glacier. It is a nice climb with snow, ice and rock. We brillant weather and a great view. | |
