| Took a cross country route from the entrance station to the south ridge and on up to the top. The south slope was hard and icy. Saw one other climber come up after I reached the top. He left without noticing me as I had walk along the ridge to get some nice views of the north face. Shasta was clearly visible. | |

| Quick climb on a clear day. The South Slope is very easy, once on top the summit drops away into it's northern cliffs. Four others were up there with teles. I made a ski descent. | |
