brutus of wydeRoute Climbed: Northwest Ridge Date Climbed: late 1970s  Sucess!

Climbed this great peak with Pat Brennan early in my climbing career. He had just spent a month on a climbing road trip and we did this summit to punctuate the end of his time on the road. I still have an old photo of rafting on Raspberry Lake on the way out to the car.

darinchadwickRoute Climbed: The ridge from Raspberry lake Date Climbed: summer 1985  Sucess!

My absolute very first mountain. I was just a kid, and my incredibly slow parents were barely able to drag their overloaded overnight packs to Raspberry lake. Being full of 16 year old energy I took off up the ridge by myself and had the time of my life. Thus is this reclusive exquisite peak forever lodged in my memory. Seeing the ocean from the summit made me feel like I was on top of the world.
