UliRoute Climbed: North Ridge Date Climbed: July 06, 2003  Sucess!

We spent the night at the Geraer Hut. The plan was to traverse the mountain. Due to the cold weather during the previous week we had snow and ice on the ridge which made it more difficult than under dry conditions. Belaying was obligatory. On the summit we decided to rappel back down on the same route. The visibility on the south east ridge got very poor.

Martin74Route Climbed: North- or NW Ridge Date Climbed: 4th of May 2003  Sucess!

We went with the cable car to the Tuxer Fernerhouse and then started to the Ridge. The weather was brilliant. The climbing was mixed with rocks and snow. It was an excellent day.

lutjebroekRoute Climbed: North Face Date Climbed: 28 november 2002

I had no snowshoes, no ski's or whatsoever so I turned back at 2600 meters in 1.7 meter snow (Approximality). It was too hard. My next winterclimb will be better prepared!

Mathias ZehringRoute Climbed: south east ridge Date Climbed: August 6th 1988  Sucess!

with a group of the german alpine club we did a traverse: ascent over the SE-ridge, descent via the north ridge. We were lucky and had great weather conditions. After sleeping at the Spannagel house we went back to the starting point at Schlegeis lake the next day with climbing the Hoher Riffler.
