| In the afternoon of the 8th of September I went up to the Flueseeli, stayed over night at the self-catering refuge, left the next morning at 4:00 a.m., arrived at the Lenker Strubel at 8:00 a.m. and spent the entire day up on the Wildstrubel plateau. The weather was one of the finest I've ever had in the mountains, and so clear that you could distinguish meadows from forests in the Jura way in the distance! On a day like that, the view to the Pennine Alps, the Mont Blanc massif but also to the mountains of the Pays d'Enhaut plus the large plateau of the Glacier de la Plaine Morte right below is fascinating! |
