| Good deal of snow from the previous weeks storm. Occasional posthole to mid-thigh depth. Good firm snow for cramponing most of the way and some mixed rock up to easy class 3 near the summit. Beautiful blue-bird skies. First mountaineering trip with Luciano136 and first since moving back to CA. | |

| Traverse of the south ridge from peak 12,916 (No Goode) to Mt. Goode is an enjoyable class 3 scramble over good rock. The climb up Mt. No Goode is a misnomer as the climbing is fun class 3/4. Recommended over the slog up the S.E. slope. | |

| Got up the previous morning at 10a to acquire food and junk and to pack my gear into my van; drove to work and labored for 9+ hours (swing-shift); drove from my job (in San Jose) to the TH; hiked up the trail to Bishop Lakes; made it to the summit by about 2p. No sleep for about 28 hours. (a rather typical itinerary at the time) No wonder I dozed off while standing on the exposed tip of the summit prow and nearly toppled down the north buttress! After that, I was very wide awake for the trip back to my camp. | |

| Nice climb from Bishop Pass. There was a medium-sized snow field on route. It was kind of steep, but the snow was soft. Could be bypassed by going to the left towards No-Goode and moving along the ridge. | |

| Second time on Mt. Goode. Since there was a lot more snow than expected, we climbed this peak instead of planned Mt. Agassiz. Mixed snow conditions combined with some class 3 rock near the summit made for a rather tedious climb. I went with SP-er mtndonkey. SE SLOPE AND EAST RIDGE - NOV 4TH 2007 This was a great day out with a good group of people! The x-country part took quite a bit longer than expected. We took sort of a direct approach to the East (?) Ridge and then scrambled to the summit. There are some good class 3 moves. Participants: Adam and brother, Arthur, Laura (Moosetracks), Dave (ramblindave), Chrissy and myself. | |

| Beautiful albeit windy day in the mountains. Came to climb Agassiz, but the easy route was filled with snow, and as my climbing partner was 5 months pregnant, we opted for the clear, sure thing of Goode. I tried to stay in the rocks as much as possible, as I'ld rather have class 3 rock, than class 2 sand. Gorgeous summit, though I can't get the North Buttress out of my head | |
