| Approached vis Flume Slide trail. It was a bit dicey since there was some black ice along the slide. Otherwise, a vibrant day with great sunny views. | |

| After slogging our way up the Flume Slide we dragged ourselves over to Liberty. Views of Washington, Lincoln and Cannon were excellent on this clear, calm, warm winter day. It was a new experience to be up in the Whites without 60mph winds, total whiteout, and sub-zero temps! Perfect day all around. | |

| Views from Liberty were as amazing as any we'd had all day. Gorgeous day with sunshine and the winds had lightened some to make it chilly, but bearable. Made the decision to hit Flume as well and headed there after a quick break. Neat hike! | |

| Hiked over from Flume and then down the trail back to the parking lot from there. I enjoyed the area just below the summit where the firs are shorter and the ground is moss-covered. | |

| Climbed with Flume via the Liberty Spring Trail from Franconia Notch. A moderate ascent to trail crest and then only a short hike to Liberty's amazing hyperbolic summit. Great views all around. Many small alpine plants were to be seen on Liberty's summit on this bluebird July day. | |

| Got up to the hut, with an infant in tow. No one was happy! It was cold and raining pretty hard. Hung out in the hut, for too long, then turned around. (Climbed it succesfully 6 yrs prior on a gorgeous day.) | |

| Hiked up the Liberty Spring Trail and camped at the Liberty Spring Tentsite. Next morning tagged Liberty on the way over to Lincoln and Lafayette. Nice views from the summit. | |
