| Sierra Club Peak Climbing Section private trip - 6 women. we camped at Francis Lake and stuck to the ridgeline for some fun easy bouldering. All made it to the top. I had a fall on the way down and dove head first into a boulder - ouch! Thunderbumpers built up and we plunge-stepped as quickly as we could most of the way down the sandy drainage where we could. Much harder than I expected but I'm out of shape from a protracted injury recovery. Very fun trip! | |

| Sierra Club outing. About 2.7 miles from Rock Creek Lake to camp at Francis Lake, then the sub-ridge to the main ridge and the top. Great viewing peak. | |

| Fun climb. I found the terrain to be much better than I'd heard. Not very loose at all. I followed a gentle dry drainage up to the notch on the ridge and scambled up the stable talus from there. 3:15 up. Excellent views. | |

| Perfect weather and spectacular views. The talus is usually wobbly which made for a suprisingly exhausting, but highly rewarding climb. | |

| Hard to believe that this peak is higher than the nearby Emblem Peak, Mt. Abbott. Great views on a fun warm up hike before climbing some other peaks in the area. The talus and scree wasn't that bad with good route-finding. I have a feeling I'll be visiting this peak again sometime. | |

| About three hours to summit from RCL at a moderate pace. Nice little hike and great views. Decended a very loose and tedious class 2 chute to near Chicken Head Lake (Maybe the southern most chute between Morgan and LLP). Great View. | |

| It was a beautiful day and the view from the top was great seeing as it's the highest peak in the immediate area. The route via Francis like is a nice moderate hike over fairly easy terrain. Just a little scrambling near the top. | |
