| A great place for a hike, especially spring and fall. Lots of wildlife, great birding, flowers. There are even some rocks to clamber around. One of the best little mountains around.
The secret route: if you approach Greyrock from the Meadows (west of the rock) , instead of taking the main trail, there is a great 4th class route to the top. Just head for the rock, and follow the path of least resistance. I've only done it once, I'm not sure I can find it again, but its there. |
