Climbed "Not the Greatest Route" and "The Greatest Route" in one long hot day. Tons of fun! Should've brought a third liter of water..

Matt and I calculated that we covered a total of about 7 miles and 2,300 vertical in 3 hours car to car. We took the longer meadows route on the way down to get some added distance!! Soloing the face is a blast! For a good combo trip check out the Cliff Jumping!

jstanleyRoute Climbed: by trail Date Climbed: 26 June 2003  Sucess!

It was a fine sunny day but not too hot. There is very nice rock on this summit, good for scrambling or more serious routes. Look out for poison ivy on the lower parts of the trail. This was my first summit of the year.

NelsonRoute Climbed: Standard and Secret Date Climbed: Several times, 1980-2000  Sucess!

A great place for a hike, especially spring and fall. Lots of wildlife, great birding, flowers. There are even some rocks to clamber around. One of the best little mountains around.

The secret route: if you approach Greyrock from the Meadows (west of the rock) , instead of taking the main trail, there is a great 4th class route to the top. Just head for the rock, and follow the path of least resistance. I've only done it once, I'm not sure I can find it again, but its there.

Aaron JohnsonRoute Climbed: Standard Date Climbed: Summer  Sucess!

I've climbed the mountain twice. Great fun, nice scrambling at the top. Tech routes are available as well on solid rock. Look out for the poison ivy near the beginning of the trail. Very nice mountain.
