| This is one of my favorite NM summits. The mountain is extremely impressive with its vertical faces and the lore surrounding the area makes it even more intriguing. | |

| I climbed the Peak a few times while living in Vegas. It's less than two hours up. The view is stunning. We could see one of the houses we lived in from the summit. There is plenty of space for camping at the summit if you don't mind lightening. Red Dawn was filmed in Vegas, and you can see the Peak several times during the movie. Patrick Swayze has a place on the way up to the mountain. | |
