| Normal route from the Lenkjoechl hut was our goal but we reached only the ridge around 3300m below the upper face because of strong snowstorm (IN THE MIDDLE OF JULY) and foggy weather. We had a lot of new snow, around 30cm. When we came back to Lenkjoechl hut the weather was sunny! | |

| July 22th 1988 Normal route from the Lenkjoechl hut As often, Martin and I left the hut without having breakfast. We used the rope to the ridge but didn't see one crevasse. On the ridge we climbed solo, Martin was - as always - faster than me so I met him again on the summit. There it was too windy for having a late breakfast and so we went down again. Our first meal that day was after return to the Lenkjoechl hut. We celebrated our success with a big decanter of red wine - on an empty stomach. I've never been so drunk in the mountains and don't have clear memories of the further descent through the Roettal valley. July 24th 1994 NE ridge from Kleine Philipp-Reutter hut very nice day with three friends on one of my favorite mountains. We slept another night in the bivuoac hut and proceeded via the Malhamspitzen to the Essener and Rostocker hut March 28th 2005 Ski route to Untere Roetspitze from Kasern/Casere Long and nice ski route through the Roettal valley. At Lenkjoechl pass we met the more common route from Windtal valley that lead us to the fore-summit of Untere Roetspitze. | |

| A wonderful sunny day with Nace Cretnik, Francesco and Gianni. Difficulties to overcome about 150 meters under the top. The ridge, very exposed, was difficult for us. | |
