Once I got to the boulderfield, I just headed straight up. It seemed longer than it looked from there. I was the only one on the summit but if you looked down you could see the multitudes heading up toward the Keyhole Route for Long's Peak. Headed for Mt Lady Washington for more.

Cool, overcast, socked in day, but nice hike up Lady Washington, Storm Peak and Battle Mtn nonetheless.

I was pleasently surprised with the ridge scrambling, exposure and warm temperatures! Watching some hard core people descend the Cable Route on Longs Peak made for an entertaining day.

After Mt. Lady Washington E Ridge and recon of the North Face of Longs and Chasm View. Scrambling was fun, able to make it as interesing as I liked. Descended down SE?-straight towards the crappers in the boulder field. Some of those large boulders are loose, I got to teeter-todder on one boulder the size of my dining room! 8:45am-3:15pm - 6.5 hrs.

Traversed from the keyhole after ascending Meeker, Longs, and Pagoda. Not a horribly interesting peak, but some decent scrambling up top.

Aborted Longs Pk trip, North Face route due to frigid temps.

Clear skies and moderately cold below Granite pass. At the Boulderfield and ascending Storm the wind was absolutely horrible. Bitterly cold with frequent gusts and snow-devils. Reached the summit, immediately dropped to my kness and hands and went right back down. You couldn't stand on the top. Snow was so hard cramptons would have had an negligable effect. 8 hour day.

Great climb! The weather was perfect and the views were amazing. Best of all I had the top to myself! Could have sat there all day.

Total ascents = 6. First two climbs on attempts to do the Glacier Gorge Traverse, third climb on the sucessful Glacier Gorge Traverse, the fourth on a traverse of Lookout Mountain, Mount Meeker, Longs Peak, Storm Peak and Half Mountain and the last two from the Longs Peak Ranger Station just for fun.

The ridge from the keyhole is a lot of fun and the views of the northface of longs, the boulderfield and Glacier gorge are amazing! Fun mountain and not too much extra effort after Longs....

A fun extra after Longs Peak. There was some pretty deep snow where I sunk up to my hip, just made it more interesting without cramp-ons.

There was some postholing across The Boulderfield, but the weather was excellent. Much better than my previous attempt.

Storm Peak lived up to its name this day. Summited at noon in unsettled but not particularly threatening weather. Then descended into a full-blown winter-like whiteout that provided for a mini-epic. I will try to post a trip report in the next week or so.

Tagged this on the way down from the North Face of Long's. Actually has a great view of Glacier Gorge and the Boulderfield. I would definately recommend it, if you have the energy on the way down.

Made the climb today while waiting for my parents to fly in. Easy going without much snow. Skies clear except for giant lenticulars all over the front range. Temps not too bad with gusty wind at times. The north ridge offered an unmatched view of glacier gorge and made for a fun hike.
