| Chipmunks by the dozens on the lower trail. Trail washed out near summit, Ledge below summit has good views of Indian Lake. Fire tower restored with great views in all directions, you can see three other towers on Blue, Wakely, Pillsbury. | |

| Drove up from Johnsonville to tackle this one. Great mountain with some challenge towards the top. Excellent views of the rest of the Adirondacks. Stayed on top for about an hour checking out all the viewpoints with some Saranac "trail mix" and oatmeal cookies. | |

| Set out for another sunrise climb of Snowy, purely by coincidence on the anniversary of my first ascent of Snowy. Wonderful views this time; 4 hours round trip. | |
