| The ridge had patches of avoidable snow...and was a blast! Summit had packed snow. Descended South slope. Found areas of snow and ice to, and around, the frozen lake. Patches of ice in trees. | |

| Went up the westward leaning ramp above Herman Lake. About halfway up that, I looked at the trail going up what looked like an unpleasantly loose scree slope on Pettingell's south side and decided "I don't think so". Instead, I continued on to a saddle to the left and scrambled up the crest of the southwest ridge; solid rock on that route. | |

| The east ridge was fun. Super quick descent. Meant to also tag 'The Citadel' but weather forced me down. Ok summit. Not the best. | |

| Climbed east ridge. I tried to solo that chimney face crack but didn't feel comfortable trying to pull the roof with no rope and a long fall down so I chimneyed back down n went around the south side of it. Then descended south slopes. Great summit all to meself. | |

| awsome ridge from Hassell. Combined with Citadel, Hagar and Golden Bear, and descended the Loveland Ski Area to car shuttle at lower lot. Great day, little bit of everything. Awsome views of the entire Gore Range as well. | |

| Lots of loose scree. Descended from the start of the east ridge in the talus gulley. This was a bit more stable. Great weather and had the summit and Herman Lake all to myself. | |

| Fun scrambling day on East Ridge with Jordan and Eric. Drove through blizzardy conditions on the Front Range to find clear skies over the divide. Crazy! Definitely recommend this in the winter. | |

| Couldn't get over the divide to meet my friend since the tunnel was closed, so I went up Pettingell. Very cold and windy, but a nice day. Had to avoid loaded spots above the lake. | |

| I climbed over to Pettingell from "The Citadel" with slowpoke. It was a long day and I made it even longer by nearly climbing to the summit of UN 13,215 before turning around due to nearby cloud development. Pettingell's North Ridge turned out to be quite a scramble! | |

| Me and "Asphazell" hiked up to Herman Lake at night with headlamps. We camped near the lake and started this climb at 5:30am. A cold morning and amazing glissade from summit to lake! | |

| Not sure why, but we traversed from the Citadel on an incredibly rainy day - the kind where it just rains steadily all day. We were wet but not cold enough to care. The traverse took a lot of concentration since the rock was wet and slimy. One 15 meter rappel was required to overcome a 5th class step. | |
