| A Bit | Southeast Ridge Date Climbed: Jun 27, 2008 | |
| Hiked in along Eagle Creek, starting a 6 am. Lots of smoke had settled in from the California fires, but it cleared by midday. Only encountered 2 climbers and 2 hikers all day. From the summit, went on to Victoria Peak which also has some great views. | |

| Hiked in about 5 miles on Sat. Went for the summit on Sunday, back out on Monday. We had the whole place to ourselves on a Memorial Day weekend!! Lucky to be able to do a peak like this in early May, no real snow left~only patches. It was one of the windiest peaks! We didn't go up the face, but rather from Eagle Creek. | ||

| Used to be on the Mammoth (&Toiyabe) Heliski permit areas. Skied with them a couple times in the mid 80"s. The north slope has one of the best chutes I've done. | |

| Left after work at 5 pm and barely made the top before dark. It was quite cold and windy, and I didn't spend too much time enjoying the spectacular views of the northern Sierra. Made it back to the toe of the SE Ridge by dark, went the last 6 miles by headlamp. A fine way to finish off the workday. | |
