Hiked with Eugene, Zach and Paul, but the latter two called it quits less than half a mile from the summit. Shame, it was quite nice. Good little hike, a little steep, but certainly nothing crazy.

PharmacistClimbed from Church Fork  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Oct 15, 2009

Climbed from Church Fork this afternoon. Took the wrong trail down from the peak and had to bushwhack (in shorts) back to the correct trail. After getting all the crap out of my boots, had a nice run back to the car. 1 hour 45 min up, 1 hour 10 min down. Great views of Salt Lake and of the other beautiful mountains nearby!

Not a bad snowshoeing day. Some parts of the trail were pretty narrow and I occasionally got tripped up on some scrub. Once it opened up, though, snowshoes were definitely good to have.

TacoJockeyGood views, good times!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Feb 28, 2009

I enjoyed this as my first climb of the year. I got my blood flowing and found out how out of shape I'd become since last fall. Nice views of SLC.

Easy hike. It was nice to climb and I passed alot of people who went just to the pass. Meet a couple of guys (REI employees) who came up from the West Ridge.

WasatchvoyageChurch Fork, with snow.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 7, 2008

Made it up fairly quickly, 1 to 2 feet of fresh snow all the way. The somewhat clear weather at the summit changed within minutes and it snowed on me a bit. This would be a great hike to load your pack with rocks for conditioning/exercise. Easy hike.

Date Climbed: Oct 14, 2008

Hiked up from the west with Moogie737. My 86th time on the summit since I started keeping track. I've had one failure when it was so windy on the west side that I was reduced to crawling.

Jun 16, 2008 (TR Included) Climbed it from church fork, with Cousins and Brother, fun but one problem, too many dam mosquitoes and flies

May 23, 2009 Climbed from Church Fork again this time only with brothers, More snow this time, less mosquitoes and less heat! (more dogs though!)

SundanceKid203Winter Climb  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Feb 16, 2008

In preperation for a trip to Rainier in a few months, we decided to shake the dust off of our Koflach's with a winter climb of Grandeur Peak. We encountered two large groups of elk, coyote tracks, and waist-deep snow in parts. It was an awesome trip and a pleasant beginning to the 2008 climbing season.

An enjoyable climb on a frosty fall morning. The terrain is fairly rugged with numerous trail options to reach the summit.

I've done both routes a few times, but the west slopes plays my knees on the way down every time. I agree with the posting below: best enjoyed sub-80 degrees.
