| Hiked with Eugene, Zach and Paul, but the latter two called it quits less than half a mile from the summit. Shame, it was quite nice. Good little hike, a little steep, but certainly nothing crazy. | |

| Climbed from Church Fork this afternoon. Took the wrong trail down from the peak and had to bushwhack (in shorts) back to the correct trail. After getting all the crap out of my boots, had a nice run back to the car. 1 hour 45 min up, 1 hour 10 min down. Great views of Salt Lake and of the other beautiful mountains nearby! | |

| Not a bad snowshoeing day. Some parts of the trail were pretty narrow and I occasionally got tripped up on some scrub. Once it opened up, though, snowshoes were definitely good to have. | |

| Made it up fairly quickly, 1 to 2 feet of fresh snow all the way. The somewhat clear weather at the summit changed within minutes and it snowed on me a bit. This would be a great hike to load your pack with rocks for conditioning/exercise. Easy hike. | |

| Hiked up from the west with Moogie737. My 86th time on the summit since I started keeping track. I've had one failure when it was so windy on the west side that I was reduced to crawling. | |

| In preperation for a trip to Rainier in a few months, we decided to shake the dust off of our Koflach's with a winter climb of Grandeur Peak. We encountered two large groups of elk, coyote tracks, and waist-deep snow in parts. It was an awesome trip and a pleasant beginning to the 2008 climbing season. | |
