| Whent back up and slept on its summit once again, this time alone. Sunset was great but meteor shower ni night was highlight, sunrise was very spectacular aswell, got some nice photos. Climbed East lion in the morning via bush route and continued along Howe Sound Crest trail to Porteau Cove | |

| West Lion is a wicked hike, my first really exposed scramble, returted later in the year and slept on summit, there is a little flat spot right below the peak big enough for a standard 2 person tent. The sunset was one of the nicest I have seen and it was altogether one of my great experiences in the mountains. | |

| Grew up in North Vancouver and have been up The Lions many, many times. A beautiful place, but way too many inexperienced people going up in running shoes. Keeps North Shore Search & Rescue busy! | ||
