The environment on the top of Roraima is unlike anything I've ever experienced. The odd rock formations and unusual plants were mezmorizing. Our group stayed two nights in the cave. I wish we had one more day to hike to the "Labyrinths" section.

It was a 5 day trip and we did it guided b/c you have too. The guide really helps in showing you all the cool spots once you get on top. I've never seen anything like what I saw on the top.

I went with Backpacker Tours in Santa Elena on a six day excursion (Erik was very accommodating and helpful). It rained every day. A lot. Still, it´s a really cool place and the clouds occasionally lifted for amazing views. I went on a three day tour of Angel Falls just before which was definitely worth it.

This was some kind of an adventurous trip, a lot more infrastructure is there nowadays. Yes, it's a different world up there...

Like Miguel I confirm the greatness of this mountaintrip. It's such a special environment that it made the long detour from Merida worthwile.

First climbed Roraima at age 7, then at 13 and last time at age 25. It is a magnificent mountain and on the top it's another world. There's no place on earth like this one!!! I really prefer High Mountain Climbing, but Roraima is a "Must Do" for any mountaineering person or anyone that enjoys the beauty of nature that comes to Venezuela.
