| Hiked with Matthew who has the pleasure of carrying all my twenty odd layers of clothes and scarf and food and water...indeed I'm spoiled. It is the most difficult peak I've done in Monterrey, Mexico, but definitely worth the pain. After all it is Mexico and you can get good grilled chicken, rice, beans, and salad on the street en route to Monterrey for 50 pesos (< 5 USD). | ||

| Climbed this with my gf. No class 4 anywhere to be found (except for one optional bouldering move along the ridge, which is easily bypassed by the normal use trail), but there were a couple of spots of class 3 with some exposure. This is an impressive-looking peak that dominates the views from most of the surrounding mountains. Lots of loose scree/soil on the way up the canyon, and tons of cactus everywhere--took several days to pull all the needles out! | |

| Along with my friend Rubén, I summited this amazing mountain for the first time, It took us 13 hours round trip spending an hour and thirty minutes on the summit. We ran out of water (5 liters) on the way down. Next time we need to start earlier. | |
