| Colin and I ascended to the ridge from the east end of the glen, pausing at the bealach to admire a fine stag with velvet covered antlers, unconcernedly grazing on the wet grasses. After finding the first top of Stuc a' Choire Bhig through the clouds around mid-day, we traversed the whole Liathach ridge arriving on Mullach an Rathain at 3:25pm. Not many views unfortunately and it took until 6:30pm to get back to the Torridon campsite due to the awful descent. | |

| We climbed on a dark, cloudy day,for the top 300m there was almost no visibility at all. The summit ridge was a very satisfying hike, although I was unfortunately not able to continue after the main summit and traverse the pinnacles of Am Fasarinen, due to dodgy weather and not much time available. I would have liked to see more of the mountain and the views, but it certainly is impressively steep on all sides. | |
